REDDOGICE (188), nantucket, Massachusetts, USA Mar 14, 2006 Tap. While I was at the Merrimack brewery. Not the best, but it is a somewhat decent example of the style. Next time, I will get a real pale ale.
Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Jan 31, 2006 tap at st louis hospitality room-I was here with some friends from college that were down here for a concert. They wanted to take the tour. I saw this on tap and decided it would be the best beer of the crap to try. this beer poured light orange with a soapy off-white head. Aroma has hints of fresh wet hops, light adjuncts, and some light spicy notes from noble hops. Flavors were not bad-leafy hops came out long in the finish-green and wet. Palate is medium lite but doesn’t do well rounding the flavors. weak malt presence here-only some light husky notes. fairly dry finish. not bad for an AB beer. framebender (56), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jan 7, 2006 Had this today at Brewery. Great looking beer - sparkling clear darker mahogany color. Finishes extremely clean and crisp. However, really wasn’t anything special. To me tasted like Budweiser with some actually detactable hop flavor, unlike normal Budweiser. Fine brew for a big commercial company but nothing special. rdawson321 (145), USA Jan 7, 2006 Updated: Jun 10, 2006Absolutely amazing. A-B’s best brew. Incredibly floral with strong hop aroma, rich aftertaste, crisp carbonation, and it goes down smooth. Since you can only get it at the brewery, tastes very fresh with no unpleasant tastes or odors. I know beer aficionados aren’t big fans of A-B, but do yourself a favor: take a tour and drink a few of these before its gone.
