Tap at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a deep mahogany with a broken off white head. The aroma is weak dry malt. The flavour is medium bitter, liqourice, roasted malt, dark chocolate and some citrus fruit in the palate.A really flavourful and refreshing beer.

Cask @ Nags Head. Claims to be a chocolate stout rather than a porter. If it is, it’s from choc malts rather than cocoa, but it’s tasty nevertheless. Dark, small head, smooth and full bodied, slightly sweet with hints of chocolate.
