Cask at the Stockton Ale and Arty Beer Fest. Mahogany with a small tan head. Nice coffee aroma. Sweet taste with chocolate. Very light and easy to drink for the style. Decent.

Tap at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a deep mahogany with a broken off white head. The aroma is weak dry malt. The flavour is medium bitter, liqourice, roasted malt, dark chocolate and some citrus fruit in the palate.A really flavourful and refreshing beer.

Cask (gravity) @ 29th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2012, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.
Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate to light heavy chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, swet dark malt, chocolate, chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask @ Nags Head. Claims to be a chocolate stout rather than a porter. If it is, it’s from choc malts rather than cocoa, but it’s tasty nevertheless. Dark, small head, smooth and full bodied, slightly sweet with hints of chocolate.
