On the way to Holden Beach we stopped for a growler. The new summer ale was Cream weaver which is a cream ale. I hope this the best match. If incorrect I will change. This is very successful micro brewery in Wilmington. It is always packed. Their beers are decent. Watching sports events or people this is the place. This visit they had only had room on the street. The ale was refreshing beer with not much else. Finish was OK but not a beer to put in a growler.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2008 Light golden pour with nearly no head to speak of and no carbonation visibly present. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy, there is tiny carbonation present. Pretty much null aroma, some grainy notes. Just a slight sweetness, otherwise tastes like a standard macro lager. Not much hop presence, but there is not much to balance out. Obviously very drinkable, a beer for the masses. Actually not bad and pretty standard for the style.
