This was purchased in a growler on a weekend that we were at Holden Beach. This brewery is in downtown Wilmington and has good food and beer. The ESB pours a clear amber with a nice head. This ESB has a modest nose of citrus. The bitterness is OK. I still prefer an APA to ESB. This beer is not dull.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a medium sized off-white head. Average head retention. Aroma of toffee, bread and a plum finish. The taste is toasted malts, stone fruits, caramel, bitter hops. Medium bodied, low carbonation and quite flavorful. Nice.

hazy copper, wispy white head, lots of drippy lace, light hop aroma with a hint of sweetness, nice hop flavor leading to a long bitter finish, enough caramel sweetness to give the hops and bitterness a place to hang out, a hint of butterscotch flavor add additional sweetness, drinks just a well in the pint as in the sampler
