3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap poured into a 4 oz sampler glass. The aroma is a potent citrus peel and spruce with a light toasted caramel. It’s a clear, dark orange amber beer with a medium white ring and a light island puff. It leaves a good, micro bubble lace. The taste is a balanced medium high sweet and bitter. A soft carbonation comes with a thin, slick texture and a medium full body. A dry, resinous grapefruit finishes the beer with a sweet, malty caramel. The aftertaste is a strong grapefruit bitter with some biscuit notes.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Kind of an English style with more focus on the malt and less on the hops. It has a nice caramel malt aroma and the flavor has it too. The hops are more of a compliment to balance.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is one of my favorites. Great hops from the nose to the palate. Nothing but fun to drink!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
on tap at the brewpub. for an IPA, this one left a lot to be desired! where were the hops? it looked great, orangy amber with good lacing as I worked my way down the pint glass and medium-bodied, but none of that strong hop profile that leaves you wanting more.
