Aug 16, 2008 Pours light clear gold with foamy white head. Aroma corn and malt. Flavor bit sweet and malty, more liked mild pilsner with some saazy hop finish. Medium mouthfeel.

Aug 24, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Clear topaz with a nice lasting head. Aroma of honey toasted dry cereal. Flavor is honey grain and slightly sweet on front, with a delicately bitterish finish. Light-bodied and refreshing. This is a nice Helles; if you must have a lager you could do much worse.

Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours straw gold with virtually no head. The aroma is clean but weak; some sweet grain, a hint of fruit. The flavor is lots of hay and some dark graininess, maybe some spice. Almost woody in the finish. Not good overall, but considering what it is, it’s impressive enough.

Apr 30, 2007 Pours a dark golden color with a white head. Has some lacing. Has the typical malt lager taste. But this one has a heavier malt taste. The barley also stands out in this brew. Has some hoppiness in the aftertaste. Most of these beers have a hop aftertaste, the brewer must like the hops.
