Bottle. Pours a clear light brown with no head. The aroma is nice oak, grass, yeast. Thin mouthfeel with sweet malt, light roast, nice oak. Good.

Draft... Clear amber pour with a small, fizzy, white head. The bouquet is both fruity and malty - figs, peaches, dates, toffee and tea biscuit. Full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor consists of heavy-handed alcohol and dried, candied, amber fruits. Ethanol and tea biscuit finish.

Bottle shipped down by the brewery for RBWG. Interesting take on a brewskie here... golden orange pour with a small khaki head. Mild barrel on the aroma, some grassy hops, candy sugar, yeastiness. The flavor has even lighter barrel, hardly a trace of oak, moreso candy sugar and Belgian yeast aspects, some hoppiness if you search for it, bitter phenolics. Not bad, I didn’t dislike it as much as some of the others.

Deep yellow pour with foamy white head and lace. Aroma light brown sugar, BB, and rock candy. Brown sugar sweet with a medium bitter. No real distinct hop for me. Medium bodied and fizzy.l

Bottle in the hotel lobby .. . mild grain, yeast, mild wheat, and the lightest on barrel .. . fairly interesting, but falls a bit flat in the end .. . . you will find true love on flag day.

Bottle at RBWG, late night lobby tasting. Pours a lightly cloudy orange golden with a small white film of lace. Nose is boozy, citrus, sharp bitter earthiness, oak, light grassiness. Flavor is similar, a bit messy and disjointed. Appreciate the effort to make something unique though.

This beer confuses me. I really like the other two that I had from front street, but this one really has a lot of things that seem to be fighting each other. I’m not sure a beer that’s kind of like some of the Belgian hoppy beers really goes with this type of aging.

Bottle at RBWG hotel session. Pours clear orange with a small, white foam head. A bit boozy, some honey. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Light bitter finish, some herbs, sugary bread. Hot alcohol.
