On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy, golden-copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is floral hops with touches of citrus pines and a lightly sweetened, somewhat bready caramel malt backing. Flavor is similar. Clean, lightly sweetened caramels with a touch of bread and a moderate citrus floral hopping. Finishes dry with a bit of a pine note that leaves a medium-light bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent EPA. Nothing special, but easy drinking and enjoyable enough. Not bad.

Tap at Front Street in Davenport on Nov. 25, 2011. Pale gold pour with a small clingy white head. Nose and taste of mild citrus hops, and a bit of bready malts. Nice brew.

On tap at brewpub, pours a hazy copper with a thin head, aroma has a decent amount of citrus mixed in with the malt, the flavor has a decent bitterness to it, decently balanced, just nothing out of this world.

An old rate, draft at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazed gold/copper. White head. Nose is floral and herbal hops, light caramel as well. On taste, more of the grassy herbal hops, toffee and earth. Pleasant carbonation. Decent.

Tap at the pub. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a ring of white head. Aroma is big citrus hops. Very sweet and inviting. Taste is the same citrus hops, probably cascade with a softening bitter finish.

Had on tap at the brewpub in a pint glass a long time ago and I don’t remember the specifics of the beer beyond the numbers.

uncompromising pale ale. I think they change the hop bill on this one from time to time. the character was different than i remember from my last sample a couple of years ago. i think i detected simcoe in the flavor, but i might just have simcoe on the brain.....anyways this was good and hoppy and get some if you are in down town davenport
