Bottle… A mostly clear amber pour creates a temporary, small, creamy, white head. The nose is bright and citrusy with wheat and biscuit undercurrents. Light-bodied and dry with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is rindy, citrusy and dry, tilting a good deal toward the bitter side of balance, but not overbearingly so. Short, crisp, snappy finish. Best use of Simcoe hops I’ve ever run across. Not dank, earthy, musky or cat-pissy. Brewed very thoughtfully, deliberately and cleanly. This is what all American wheat ales should aspire to be - Gumballhead included. Well done, Kevin!

3/5/13. 22oz bottle now and during RBWG. Rich almost ruby orange pour with a nice off-white head. Bold hop aroma with citrus, dank, and lots of fruitiness... and a touch of doughy malts. Laid back wheat malty flavor with a touch of citrus, plenty of hop bitterness, some dankness and pine, and a touch of acidity. Hoppy and tasty.

First! Bottle at RBWG. Citrus and dirt on the nose. Sweet wheat with dirty, earthy backend. Interesting.
