White foamy head, cristal clear golden colour and no visible CO2. Offers aromas of barnyard, straw, summerly floral hop-flowers and green apple. A bit lively with a certain slickness developing a light acidic bitterness and light sweetness. Rather slender/light body with a light bitter short finish.

500ml bottle from Gourmondo.de. Clear gold colour, small white frothy mostly vanishing head, decent lacing. Moderately malty aroma of bisquit and hay with a hint of frutiness, light floral hops. Taste is initially somewhat on the sweet side turning into a bittersweet finish with a moderately acetic feel. Medium body, dry/watery texture, lively carbonation. Quite plain for a Kölsch, far from unpleasant however.

Tap @ Fruh am Dom, Cologne. Golden yellow with big foamy head. Mild corn aroma. Sweet corn biscuit flavour. Very smooth with bitter sweet aftertaste. Good light refreshing beer.

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow colour with almost no head. Aroma is hay, malty and grain. Soft carbonation and light body. Taste is quite watery and medium sweet with light bitter notes. Overall, a nice beer for a summer day but not remarkable.

Bottle @ home. Ambrata, limpida con.schiuma.bianca un po’ grossolana non molto persistente. Aroma fruttato di mela, cereali (frumento), un po’ di vino bianco aromatico (traminer). Gusto piuttosto secco, abbastanza acido, poco amaro. Poco corposa, carbonata. Abbastanza equilibrata (amaro sin troppo tenue) ed equilibrata.

Nice solid beer. Full flavor with a bit of a dry finish. Less gritty then it is in bottles.
