3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
16.9 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a pale straw color with excellent clarity. About one finger of a creamy white head is formed with okay retention. Soft waves of lacing are left down the glass.
S: Lots of earthy, mildly sulfur-y German hops make themselves known initially. Some cereal grains and faint touches of fruit esters round out the decent aroma nicely.
T: Now this is more like it. A combination of cereal grains and noble hops open the brew nicely, with both notes bleeding into the crisp, dry finish. What makes this one rock-solid is its prevalent stone fruit esters that help (superbly) balance the adjunct sweetness and mild hops.
M: Like I said, it’s crisp and dry with very little lingering sweetness - but plenty of lingering fruit flavors. Carbonation is good without being overbearing, also. While it’s quite drinkable, I find the flavor profile too enjoyable to chug it down quick.
O: Truth be told, I really enjoy a good kolsch - and this is definitely a very good, even great, example of an (underappreciated) style. And it’s cheap, to boot!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a stange.
The appearance was a golden yellow color with a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Barely any lacing was there.
The smell had some light sweet fruits with a gentle balance from the hops.
The taste was sweet and light.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light and came across pretty sessionable.
Carbonation was there but not overbearing.
Overall, nice Kolsch that I would have again.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Malty aroma with citrus. The taste is the same. Malty with mild citrus. Bitterness in the aftertaste is thin and sits down low in the upper part of the mouth briefly. I liked the beer anyway. But still mediocre. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (£2.80):
Like a lager on the nose with some light, sweet malts a& hints of floral, some grassy hops feature too but the aroma isn’t the most pronounced. Plenty of grain, some further sweetness & some bread with touches of yeast in there as well.
Very light & clear, golden straw with a thumb-sized, bubbly head that’s white with a fine texture, lots of visible carbonation and good retention.
Light malts with touches of sweetness coming through & some bread as well. Quite a lot of grain is present, there is some faint floral flavours & fruit with some citrus but again nothing is particularly strong.
The beer is a light bodied, almost thin one with some grain & medium carbonation. It proved quite easy to drink with light bitter finish that is slightly tangy as well.
Very similar to a pale lager in a lot of ways & I wasn’t particularly impressed with this one really. It was a drinkable beer & it’s always nice to get a new style under my belt but I didn’t think it was a great beer really.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
