A fresh, light and decent Kölsch for a warm summer day. Can also be drunk in masses of small glasses in Cologne - in fact I highly recommend this.

Sample from bottle at Hanshin Seed. Fruh Kolsch a light gold the nose is corn and grainy while the taste is quite clean. Decent enough but dull.

Currently available on tap at the Transport Hotel, Federation Square, Melbourne. Of course it doesn't taste or smell like a freshly opened barrel of Fruh Kolsch in Cologne (much of the subtle esters are lost) but it is still pretty smooth and pleasantly sweet and makes a a good Summer quaffer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33l bottle. Of all the Kolsch beer this is one of the better ones! More flavour and better aftertaste than a Gaffel of Peters Kolsch

Hay, herbs on the nose. Golden colour with a white head that dissipates very quickly. Quite bitter taste, with a lingering herbal aftertaste. Medium bodied and smooth.

Fin knäckighet, lite cola, lite unket källare. Lagerjäst? Inte så tydlig humle som jag önskade. Men ändå en bra köslch! Bättre än lager helt klart. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle, deep golden with medium head that settles quickly. Aroma mild with notes of hay/grass. Taste a little more "rustic" toast, hay and herbs. Some bitterness in the finish.

Aroma: esters, herbs. Appearance: clear straw color, nice white head. Taste: low bitterness (herbs), herbal and floral notes, some malty backbone (thin), quite empty and dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Not so bad, but bland and plain.

Bottle. A dark rich golden straw colour. Light aroma of herbs, fruits, floral. Taste is of beery fruits mostly with some citrus hop aftertaste.
