Bottle at Christmas. Another nice Dunkler. Reminds me of the Bocks from back home with dark color, caramel flavor and syrupy texture. Very enjoyable.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2012 Bottle. Deep reddish colour with a beige head. Rich sweet malt nose. Massive caramel flavour .

31.12.2006. 0,33l Bottle. Brown colour. Malty rich aroma with nice bitterness and malt sweetness.

Bottle @ Cardinal. Pours red/brown with a big off-white head.Sweet malty aroma, the same for the flavour, weak bitter at the end.

Good and fresh malty aroma, and nice aftertaste. Virtually without a head. Some strange fruitiness in the middle layer that I don’t find approprate. Full bodied and a really good aftertaste.

Bottle. Deep amber coloured body. Caramelmalty aroma. Virtually none head. Heavy hoppy bitterness. Sweet fruity aftertaste. Not a great beer.

Mahogany brown body under a dense, off-white lasting head. Aroma has got malty sweetness and some hints of hops. Tart fruits in flavour. Notes of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Almost full bodied (Sampled at a testing party in Tromsø, 08.12.2006).

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, reddish amber with a yellowish head. Aroma of roasted malt. Fairly full-bodied with notes of roasted malt and caramel. dry and lightly hoppy. Fairly clean, solid and decent Norwegian christmas beer. 211006

Bottle. Small off-white head. Clear reddish brown body. Weak malt aroma. Taste is clean, mainly plain malt with some vague notes of hops and spices. Very light-bodied for the style. Nice crisp finish.

Bottled. Hazy brown coloured with almost no head. Malty and spicy with notes of dark fruit. Slightly sweet with a somewhat hoppy finish.
