(bottle) Probably the first dark wheat light-beer I came across. Cloudy, murky brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Yeasty, wheaty and minimal toasty nose with dark fruits and rather strong clovy notes. Light sweet and sour flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Dark malty and wheaty taste, moderately fruity and yeasty; slim and wheaty finish with a tart fruity and clovy touch. Not bad at all just a bit dispensable (02.08.08).

Murky dull brown. Nice chocolate-cocoa aroma with light sweet malt character. The body is fairly light. There is lots of metallic character from the water. Overall - an interesting idea (light dunkelweizen) but it’s too light for me to really enjoy.

Bottle @ brewery. Cheesy picture!! Cloudy with aerated foam head. Aroma is light, nothing at all is wrong with it, although it’s half of what it could be. Has cola notes, toasted malt. Good dark malt or pumpernickel character. Has a light, fizzy palate. Great toasted malt flavors. Finishes airy, watery, and thin. Close to being a malta-type beverage but is better, almost like what I wish those would taste like. Some nut flavors as well as the cola. Actually tastes very pure, clean with light chocolate malt. Not bad and nothing wrong, it’s just painfully thin. If it was twice the beer it would actually be great. A very interesting experience.
