500 ml bottle. At the train from Düsseldorf to Cologne.
Clear coppery amber color with a small head. Malt, dryness, some caramel sweetness, mild bitterness and mild metal notes. Not a bad Altbier. Could have another.

Amber color. Typical Alt caramel notes, but more strong on the hop side. Similarities to West coast pale ale but less fruity or sweet. Interestingly different.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2016 Bottle courtesy of King_Alex_II, beautiful clear copper color with big tan head. Aroma is slightly metallic, caramel, herbal. Taste is Kräuterbonbon, nutty, fresh, with an earthy-tangy sting. Medium carbonation. Surprisingly dry. Very dry. Easily drinkable. The prototypic Alt.

Bitter. Thin and light in the mouth. One-sided and not overly complex. Color is warm. Interesting Alt Bier, but not my style.
