0,5l Bottle. Pours dark brown. Aroma is relatively weak malt and citrus. Taste is malt and citrus with that distinctive Altbier hop bitterness. Finishing is also citrus and bitter.

Dark coppery colored with little light brown head. Sweet and chocolaty aroma with hops, some British lemony note here. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more hopped with crispy bitterness, nice chocolate here too. Good one.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 thewolf (8245) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 5, 2010
Bottle. [thanks Feldthaus/Lau]
Pours golden copper with a big, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet and fairly malty, some slight butterscotch and grassy hops. Medium carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour starts quite metallic, but it gets less and less. Dry, some caramel malts, fairly crisp. Very dry finish. Good, but the Schumacher was better.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mike1977ok (1037) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 3, 2010
Quite a sweet aroma with a hint of caramel. Flavour has a better balance of sweet and bitter (compared to many other Altbiers). Texture is a little bit fuller, richer too. Easy to drink.
