3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 blankboy (4450) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 1, 2006
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc, mds & tupalev -- courtesy of mds. Pours a clear dark orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma is quite sweet and malty. Somewhat watery flavour of caramel malt and a light bitterness. Light bodied. It’s alright I guess, I’m not a fan of this style of beer.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2010 Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. Beautiful nut brown beer with a nicely remaining lacing head. Dissapointing aroma of malt, raisin, malt, sugar and chestnuts. Nutty taste. Malty. Beautiful lacework indeed. Sweet malty finish. Definitely not my favorite Alt. Inferior to Schumacher Alt in my opinion. Thanks a lot pivnizub!
