COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The wheat beer for Duesseldorf. This obergarige specialty is drunk the whole year over gladly, because it is soft and aromatic.

bottle, courtesy of pivnizub! Cloudy yellow, tall white head. Wheaty start with a very, very shy fruity touch, some yeasty hints. Ok, but not my favourite Weizen.

Süßlich-weiziges Bier.

24/VII/14 - 50cl swing top bottle @ home - BB: 6/X/14, bottled: 6/V/14 (2014-840)Thanks to ThirstyBird for the bottle!

Little hazy pale yellow beer, big fizzy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: some citrus peel, bit sourish, a bit off. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sour, bit lemony, wheat, soft bitterness, hint of banana, bit sweet. Aftertaste: bitter, citrus, some banana, bit grassy, sourish, refreshing, yet a bit watery.

Bottle @ Brewpub. Pours a hazy golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is grainy, malty, yeasty, not really this typical weizen aroma unfortunately. Flavor is rather boring, decent amount of malts and light sweetness. Misses the typical weizen characteristics I love. Okay.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Erzengel for this bottle! Cloudy yellow with a big frothy white head. Pleasant citric aroma with some fruitiness and bread. Flavor has a bit of sweetish bread, wheat, citric fruitiness and a drier finish with a bitterish note. Medium-bodied. Refreshing. Very different from a Bavarian Weissbier.

Cloudy tan with a bumpy head. Aroma is wheat and pale malt, taste has wheat, lemony notes, lively yeast, pears, and a dryish finish. Really nice. Really high quality wheat ale.
