Nose is grass, toffee, light banana, mineral notes, a little thin all round.
Taste comprises caramel, sugars, light tropical fruit notes, peach, banana, hint of vanilla.
Medium bodied with fine carbonation.

Unclear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, light to moderate yeasty, fruit, yeast. Klar, goldig mit feiner Schaumkrone präsentiert sich dieses Weizenbier. Von der Optik also eher ein Kristall als ein HW. Das Aroma ist verhalten hefig-säuerlich und nur ansatzweise fruchtig, etwas lasch, leider. Der Antrunk ist dann ziemlich untypisch für ein Weizen: Sehr prickelnd, aber kaum malzig, etwas Frucht a la Trockenobst und ein geradezu hopfenherber Abgang, der schön lange nachhängt. Sehr ungewöhnliche Weizen-Interpretation, aber ein Versuch allemal wert! Das Weizen mit Altbier-Seele!

Hazy orange golden colour, white head. Sweet malty aroma, citrus, orange peel, bread. Quite fruity, some yeast. Rather sweet flavour, malts, light bread. Sweet malty finish.
Indeed a quite soft Hefeweizen, but a bit too sweet to really stand out, for my taste.

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick white head sits on top of an almost clear, golden body. Some banana on the nose, citrus hints and a faint spiced touch too. A bit boring to be honest. The same goes for the flavor, both that it’s boring and that there’s banana, some citrus peel and a faint bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, and well carbonated. A quite decent beer, but a bit on the boring side. 120817
