(bottle) Hazy, brown colour with a big, but not very persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet, slightly yeasty and fruity (berries) nose with moderate wheaty touch and stronger spicy phenols. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy on the tongue. Slightly toasted and wheaty malt-character with a touch of dried berries and a whiff of chocolate in the background; slightly sweet and sour, minimal toasty finish with light spicy notes. Discreet but also quite balanced brew (27.05.08).

Red-brown colored with hazy appearance. Little vanishing yellow head. Yeasty and hopped aroma with thin grains, some unclean rubbery note also present. Thin to medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is similar with grains dominating, thin banana also here. Aftertaste has soapy palate with grains still.

The bottle looks very simple, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts malty with notes of plum. A little bit smoky. Finish modest yeasty-dry. Becomes more and more boring. Not my favourite.

Bottle. Hazy, deep amber coloured with some ruby spots, quickly diminishing off-white head. Light to moderate toasty-malty nose with a subtle sweet-vinous or raisin-like fruitiness in the background and some molecules of cacao. Light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied. Light chocolatey maltiness in the sweet-vinous and sourish finish. O.K., not unpleasant.........

bottle, thanks to Bochum! Cloudy brown colour, big head. Very malty with hints of roasetd malts. Wheaty and yeasty with a touch of fruityness (berries). Lingering finish.

Aroma of a ripe banana and a hint of orange - mild for a dunkel. Not extremely dark - clear brown. Orange flavor more pronounced in flavor but get more spiciness in the flavor - cloves with a hint of pepper - sharp end taste. Palate is light for a dunkel.

Light banana aroma. Hazy, brown, beige head, few lace. Light smoked, light sweet, light banana, lots of carbonation, needs some body. Medium long finish, bit dry, bit sandy.
