The bottle looks simple and boring, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts mild but not vapid. Modest yeasty, notes of peach. Finish still mild, a bit washy. Not bad for a light hefeweizen.

Der Antunk bei diesem Weizen ist überaus, wahrscheinlich sogar zu mild. Dafür spricht auch, dass die leichte Herbe intensiver ist als die Hefigkeit, die ja eigentlich im Vordergrund stehen sollte. Im Verlauf kaum besser, das Bier bleibt wässrig, keine Aromen können sich in irgendeiner Form bemerkbar machen. Dementsprechend langweilig ist auch der Abgang. Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Hazy yellowish golden colour with not that much head. Aroma is wheat, mild rubber as well as some wheat and spices. Flavour is wheat, yeast and some mild zesty notes as well. Easy to drink and not all too bad.

Bottle: Clear, pale golden, bigger lacy and persistent white head; light clovey-wheaty nose, very light bodied as expected; light - again - sweetish-sourish flavour; watery-wheaty finish. Not too bad, but no pleasure......

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a thick and dense, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty and citrus fruity (mainly oranges, lemon) aroma with a light wheaty background. Slightly sourish tart flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. Slim wheat-malty base with yeasty and orange-fruity notes; slim fruity and slightly wheaty finish with a light dry tartness. Not bad for a light Hefeweizen (25.05.08).

Aroma of banana/slight clove. Mostly clear yellow. Taste is bland - can barely detect any flavor and body is just above mineral water. Okay but my suggestion is to find a designated driver and drink a regular Weizen. Note to Americans: a Leicht (or light) designation on a German beer refers to alcohol content, not calories.

Fruity, citrus-like and weak aroma. Cloudy orange coloured. Lasting head. Taste is a mixture of metal, bitterness and citrus/fruits. Watery, bitter palate.

Cloudy golden coloured, small head. Weak fruity aroma. Watery end perhaps bit spicy flavour. Nothing special.

Very cloudy golden color, short lasting head. Spicy banana aroma. Watery, bit spicy taste. More bitter palate.
