A Mes rate: cask at the Fat Cat.
Dark chestnut with a thin off white head. Paint stripper and slight coffee. Sour and mineral. Very dull. Light liquorice. Boring.

Clear dark brown color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, light vanilla, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, chlorinated, berry. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090717]

Cask in the fat cat, sheffield. Alround rating: Roasted malt and black barley, very sweet, like molasses and treakle. Not hot.

Cask handpull at The Kelham island, Sheffield, RBESG 09... Brown ... roast malt and licorice ...little spice ... little toffee .. some roast mal.

Cask @ Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Deep dark brown color. Salty aroma with licorice. Thin to medium bodied. Apple syrup in the flavor with just a hint of salt.
