Malty aroma. Amber coloured slightly floral and fruity with a little dryness in a crisp full malt finish.

Oranges and a little caramel in the nose, that is a little powdery and has some sherry-like character. Hazy caramel appearance with no top. Flavour: dry and with a little caramel malt, not hops, moderate bitterness, watery. Light body, very low carbonation, clean finish.

(Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester, 22 July 2009) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of dark fruit, toffee and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with toffee, dark fruit and dusty hops in a moderatley bitter finish. Rather light body. Decent brew.

Clear medium yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]
