Cask @ 2nd Saltburn Beer Festival. A clear light brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of fruits like cerries, some caramel with hops. The taste of sweet fruits, moving to some hop bitter. The aftertaste is bittersweet.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 27 Nov 2010) Ruby red colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, dark bread, caramel and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Good balance between spicy hops and solid malt. Nice one.

Cask at The Green Man, Stamford, Lincolnshire. Very dark brown with a creamy off white head.. Coffee and sour milk aroma. Some dark fruit in the background. All very pleasing. Taste has dates, raspberries, green apple, espresso, and a little sourness. Mid bitter finish. Complex and exceptionally good.
