750 ml bottle. Golden reddish body with a thin beige head. Aroma is cocoa, hops, roasted malt and rubber. Flavor is a bit sour bitter and something between malt and something artificial. A strange beer and a bit disappointing compared with other experimental quality beers I have tasted from this exiting brewery.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 yngwie (9204) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 29, 2008
Bottle, 75cl corked. Almost clear, reddish brown pour with a nice, beige head on top. Chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt and coffee in the aroma, as well as something reminding me of the white inner peal from citrus fruits. Some sourness in the aroma, but mostly dark flavors like roasted malt, chocolate and last but not least, coffee. Not much hoppy bitterness. Slightly soapy and effervescent mouthfeel, and a coffee-ish finish. I like it, but not sure how much I really like it. It has the typical sour touch that the beers from Fuglebjerggaard usually has, maybe it would have been better without. (071228)
