COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750ml bottle @ RBNAG’07. Dark brown almost black body, actually a bit milky. Short, medium beige head. Aroma is liquorices, malt and a little impression of acid. Flavor is a bit harsh bitter, slightly roasted malt, licorices and a hint of coffee. Medium to thin body. Easy to drink but a bit short finish.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2007 Bottle, 75cl corked. (RBNAG 07) Seems to have a clear pour, black to dark brown color, and a minimal tan head. Slightly sour nose, with licorice and roasted malt. Roasted, slightly sour flavor too, with some fruityness. Medium body with a pleasant co2 level. Sure better when fresh, this was cellared for six months. Rating: 6-4-6-3-12-3.1. Old rating stands. (071103)

Bottle (75cl corked) at Københavnske Øldage. Dark, reddish brown with a beige head. Sweetish nose with coffee and chocolate. Quite round actually. The alcohol has a little touch of alcohol in addition to coffee, chocolate and sweetness. Medium body, quite sweet finish with both coffee and chocolate. Even though most of their beers are a bit too rustic, I enjoy sampling them, and this is definately one of their best. (070511)
