COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. [thank you, Thomas]
Pours hazy golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is smoky and peity, sweet with light caramel. Medium carbonation, rather thin. Flavour is smoky, weak caramel, light sugary. Not infected, just really unbalanced and boring.

Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Unclear medium yellow orange grey color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, smoke - rubber - meat. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090516]

From tap@Københavnske Øldage 2009. Dark orangey-yellow, low white head. Sweet smoky malt aroma. A certain fruitiness, banana and sweet citrus. Taste has a moderate malt base, fairly dry with a light sourish accent. Smoke tones in the flavor as well. Rather thin-bodied, slight watery mouthfeel. Not a very exciting one, but goes well down.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2009 On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It serves a hazy, orange-golden body under a small, white head. Smoke and pale malts as well as fruityness on the nose. Fruity flavor with smoke and some pale malts. Lightly sourish. Medium body, dry. There’s some smoke in the finish too, but it’s mostly fruity. I like the smoke level in this one, but the rest of the experience gets a bit dull. Rating: 5-3-5-3-11-2.7.. (090516)

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a diminishing, small, off-white head. Smoked, meaty nose with a subtle fruityness, a hint of banana and some caramel. Sweetness, some banana, fruitymess, caramel and a lovely smoke tending towards smoked meat after a while. Nicely carbonated, medium to full-bodied. Smoked, sweet finish. Had this with an aged ham, and both that and the beer alone was just lovely. (090529)
