Maria (4772), Thisted, Denmark Oct 8, 2008 EBF2008. It’s a hazy, warm golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of clover flower and heather honey. The flavour has sweetness, notes of honey and light fruit. It’s OK, but a bit watery.

Very cloudy amber golden with absolutely no head. Discreet aroma of fruit and yeast. Medium body, sweetish fruit and some yeast. The finish is dry. A complete waste of palate and money. 100908 Dango (26), Snekkersten, Denmark Oct 10, 2008 EBF2008 cask. I loved this. A flowery ale made on old danish hop species collected by a professor Winge in the 1950’s. The story impressed me and may have affected the experience. Anyway it was one of the memorable experiences from the EBF. oh6gdx (6462), Vaasa, Finland Sep 26, 2008 Draught@EBF2008. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is wood, yeast and some mild fruityness. Flavour is hops, fruits, caramel and some mild wooden notes. Slight herbal touches too.
