COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

The aroma is fresh but not really a strong smell. Pours golden with a white head. The taste is fresh and sweet of fruity notes with a hint of citrus. Nice and refreshing on a sunny day.

Golden clear colour with a thin white head. Aroma is fresh herbs hops, light malts and some caramel notes. Taste is sweet at the beginning but quickly stoped by medium bitterness of hops. Malt and ends with notes of alcohol and spice, may be pepper or licorize. Medium body. Good carbonation When times goes and temperature rise, you can feel alcohol notes rise also, so you can find it just a little bit unbalanced in that moment. Good and curious beer.

I don’t get this brewery at all.. They make some of the best beer in the world (Early Bird) and then this, which most definitely is one of the worst Bocks I’ve ever come across. I recognize the craftmanship in this brew, but it’s basically a bums brew. We’re talking 7.6% but it taste and feels more like a 10%. Very hard to finish. But if you are in the mood for some suicide drinking, this would be you choice (even Carlsberg Masterbrew is better than this liquid shite)

Can, 50cl. Pours clear pale golden colour with thin off-white head. Grainy, malty, sweet fruits and hoppy nose. Short fruity sweet with reminds you of apples, turns quite fast to an unbalanced bitter, hoppy flavour. Little grainy malt in-between. Very alcoholic. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Dry and metallic finish. Bit one-sided, thus kinda boring.

Pissgul med litet skum! Väldigt mycket malt i doft och smak! Ganska mycket alkohol i smaken!

Can. Pours light hazy honey yellow with no head. Aroma is vague malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and faint sour. Body is light oily with good carbonation. Finish is long and bitter-sweet with notes of caramel and citrus.

John brought some from Denmark to share, thanks! Shared from a tall 50CL can into nonic glasses. It poured a clear straw colour with thin but persistent head and nice lacing. Aromas of noble hops, floral and faintly peppery, with pilsener-style graininess, hints of freshly cut grass, vanilla. Flavours of husky whole-grains, some residual marshmallowy sweetness, pleasant hops bittering balance. Light-medium body, soft carbonation, bready mouthfeel, very tasty and well-crafted. High alcohol (7.6%) but harmonious and only slightly warming. Reminded me of Victory Golden Monkey Tripel which I love. Highly recommended.

0.5 can. Clear, golden in color, medium, thin, white head on top. Aroma is hoppy; generic grass, a little bit of citrus, some vanilla and clove coupled with small hints of malts. Taste is bitter, unbalanced, flavor of alcohol and warm apples. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation. Finish is short and really alcoholic. Overall the beer could be nice if it wasn’t for the alcohol pervasiveness, for me it really spoils the experience, makes the beer astringent and irritates throat.

Boks fra Føtes, på hytta: kanskje litt urettferdig dagen etter cbc, men dette er kjedelige saker. "Ekstra kraftig gylden bock" får stå for bryggeriets regning. Vil dog prøve et par andre Fuglsang senere.
