COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Bottle, 5.5%. Good caramelly aroma, distinct American hops. Clear amber colour. Very small head. The flavour is nicely hoppy. Grassy and caramelly, reminding me of American beers, but slightly less interesting. Good, though.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Pours a clear amber golden with an off-white head. Very fresh and peachy nose. Medium body with some caramel and again these peacy hops that leave a solid bitternes. Very delicious. 030409

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Nice fruity hops aroma, berry fruity and slight wooden. Sweet caramel malt flavoured. Bitter, fruity and slight nutty malt and roasted flavoured. Lasting fruity hops impression. Nice one with a good caramel malt balance.

Grovlam (4108) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2009
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Mike Murphy. Average fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Clear golden like color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of light fruity and floral notes. Peach comes to mind with some chewy hoppy notes in there as well. Over the palate came caramel and light sweet liquorish like notes. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Light dry and fruity bitter finish. Very drinkable I thought.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a nice caramel amber with a great, creamy, off-white head. Long duration, light lacings. Aroma is lightly fruity hoppy, lots of bready malts. Some sharpish liqourice as well. Highish carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet at first, a touch of metal. Nice caramel maltiness with some bready notes. Then comes a good degree of hoppy bitterness. Longish, very dry finish.
