COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

50cl Can. Running into this beer at a discount supermarket (Rema 1000) for 13 DKK (~$2) for a half-liter can, I was a bit skeptical of whether the label "Amerikansk Forårsbryg" would really turn out to be an APA, or some distant travesty of an APA. But it’s a nice example. Nicely hoppy, moreso than most Danish IPAs, and with the right amount of flavorful backing malt. I’d buy it again.

0,5 l. can from SuperBest. Clear, copper colour with golden hues. Small white head that fades to a thin film. Aroma is hoppy with citrus and floral hop notes, also a good amount of chocolate malts. Taste begins at light sweet before hops kicks some bitterness in. Medium body with a creamy texture, small, soft bubbles. Finishes with chocolate malts, nice floral hops, and a faint bread note ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dufter frisk af blomst. Flot skum som blir. Orange farve og boblende. Smager dejlig humlet. Let bitter eftersmag. En rigtig go øl til prisen som vil være god til frokosten som erstatning for en classic eller bare til at nyde i forårssolen. :0) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cascade and American yeast in nose. Beautiful copper with a slight haze and 1cm white medium head and laces. Bitterness in the beginning, more round and sweet after a while. Nice lunch beer. Really tastes of a ’classic’ home brewed American pa made of American yeast (safale 05) and cascade dry hopping

0,5L Bottle. Aroma: Nice fruity and sweet hops hops. Taste is bitter and round, but maybe too bitter. Golden brown beer with medium head, disappears after a while.

No, no, no. Too much hops as also many IPA’s use to have. Tastes like bitter cider without a hint of malt flavor. Thumbs down.

Very good beer from a "discount brewer" - and excellent value for money.

The nose is fresh and rich with floral hop notes. The taste is fresh and distinctly hops-aromatic with a good bitterness in the finish. Nice!
