COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Can 50 cl. Amber pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, a nice fresh spicy hop in through the skin with notes of citrus grapfrugt and thus lead to a bitter taste and aftertaste. Truly a lovely beer

Forhåbentlig går det pjat snart over. Både humle og chili er stærkt overvurderede, og her er bitterheden for kraftig til øllets øvrige smag, der bliver for tynd. Øllet er altså på ingen måde bedre end den kedelige standardpilsner, snarere tværtimod.

Bottle, thanks skinnyviking! Light clear orange gold. Yeasty, malty, slightly citrus hop aromas. Hops come through more clearly in the flavor, but lots of toffee and caramel that leaves a slight sweet finish. Sticky body, but with vibrant carbonation.

50 cl can. Pours light amber with a nice slightly off-white head. Aroma has some lemon zest, esters, hay and grass, a bit of sweet maltiness and a good amount of citric hops. Taste is fairly hoppy with orange and tangerine, a good amount of bitterness, an estery yeast quality and some bready hops around the sides of the mouth. A fresh breeze amongst all the spring bocks that are made this time a year.

Dåse: Orange klar øl med et fint skumhoved. Dejlig duft af citrus og tydelig amerikansk humle som lovet. Ikke så megen bitterhumle hvilket gør øllen særdeles drikbar. Positivt overrasket.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel and hoppy - grapefruit and peach. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and bitter finish. Easily the best beer from Fuglsang. 170210

Can. Dark amber with medium dense white head. Aroma dominated by fresh hopps, lots of grape and citrus. Taste initially hoppy and some good malt body. Finish moderate bitter. A lovely beer to a low price.

Can. Pours a clear amber brown with a firm, creamy off-white/beige head. Nice lacing. Sweet, almost candy-like, citrus hop aroma on a malty background at first. Rather nice. As it warms, it develops a more crispy hop, and somewhat duller, profile; brought it down from 8 to 7. Slightly tart as well. Flavour is malt and crisp hops clashing, both trying to get the upper hand, but both having equal strength. The malt part is hinting smoke at first, but doesn’t follow through. Bit of caramel though, as well as tart notes as it warms. Finish is a lingering bitterness with remote grassy notes. 22.03.11.
