COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

On tap at KØ-10. It’s a clear, golden beer with a decent off-white head. The aroma has a nice, hoppy fruityness, but also too much caramel. Quite nice though. The same goes for the flavor, it’s a bit heavy on the caramel, both to suit my palate and to style. There’s a good fruityness and a decent bitterness though, but not enough to deal with the caramel. Bitter finish. Medium body, rather dry. A decent beer indeed, probably the most tasteful from Fuglsang. 100508

Botella. Clear deep golden amber. Aroma of ripe fruits and good American hoppiness. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good bitter mild fruitiness with toasty caramel and hops along with toasty caramel and a good soft dry bitter finish. The very best Fuglsang I have tasted! Thanks Morten,

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a nice caramel amber with a great, creamy, off-white head. Long duration, light lacings. Aroma is lightly fruity hoppy, lots of bready malts. Some sharpish liqourice as well. Highish carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet at first, a touch of metal. Nice caramel maltiness with some bready notes. Then comes a good degree of hoppy bitterness. Longish, very dry finish.

The color is dark amber and the head is creamy. The aroma is inviting, refreshing and aromatic with a lot of fruit notes, mostly peach. The flavour has a light sweetness and it is just as fruity and aromatic as the aroma. It has different kinds of fruit notes, but mostly peach, also dry citrus, malt and caramel. The finish has a nice, citrussy (mostly grapefruit) bitterness. What a nice surprise, value for the money as it was quite inexpensive.
