COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Bottle, 2010-03-18, Göteborg AR: hoppy, red fruits, and some honey sweetness AP: amber body, 3 cm high frothy white foam F: medium + bitterness, hoppy bomb - this is an IPA, not an easter beer! But as an IPA quite OK

Marsiblursi (2952) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 21, 2010
(Bottle) Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is of sweet mandarin citrus, green herbs, flowers, dry honey, spicy bread, syrup, dough, nutshells, canned fruits, mild strawberry ice cream and light caramel. Lots of subtle aromas, yet surprisingly simple on the nose. Soft hops alongside a clean, crystal and tiny roasted malt profile. The flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of bitter herbs, citrus peel, bread, nutshells, fruits, flowers and light dough. The flavour is clean, almost hard with a light papery touch. Medium carbonation. Floral, citric and cookie-like finish. Light to medium bodied. Ok, not fantastic.

pilsnerrogge (2271) - Finspång, SWEDEN - APR 26, 2010
Bottled as Easter Bird:
Pours clear amber with a creamy head. Nose is butter, hops and soap. Flavour is all about resin-y hops. A bit raw and rough around the edges but still pretty drinkable.

jesperhammer (2203) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2010
21-AUG-2010, bottle @Erik, brough and served blind by Gert. Orange amber with lasting almost white head. Hoppy bitter nose with grape fruit and pine. Quite a malty background if this is an IPA, as is my guess, with a fine long bitter aftertaste. A pale ale? Well, a very dark one, but anyway a fine beer and a comeback from the bock I had yesterday. Now I understand this beer made into the 10 best brews in DK last year according to DØE.

Bronze brown ale with nice and frothy whitefoam. Well-hopped nose with fresh grapefruit and hints of mild caramel. Fruity slight sweet taste with gorgeous citrusy aftertaste. Cheap beer with clas and style - this is the one that puts on the dancing shoes and promises summer even if the rain is pouring down.
