COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer itís unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Appearance: 4/5 Clear copper liquid with a medium sized white foam that left big chunks on the side of the glass. Smell: 5/10 Lager-like smell, bread, malt, citrus and just a little bit of metal and hops. Taste: 6/10 Grassy hops, malt, citrus and also some fruits. Canít quite distinguish which, but feels like a faint tangerine taste. Mouthfeel: 3/5 Medium smooth with a medium thick body. Feels ok I have nothing to complain about really. Comment: A fairly easy to drink American pale ale that I initially mistook for a lager. The only thing that made me think otherwise before trying it was the foam that didnít look much any lager Iíve seen. Even as I drink it I find some characteristics that I relate to regular Danish lagers. Not sure why I draw that reference, could it be the yeast? Itís also very moderately hopped, which is a bit disappointing. This beer might work with your Easter dinner, but I have a feeling itís better suited for that first Spring sun. Find shelter from the cool winds and I think this beer would come to itís best.

Pours dark red-amber with huge light brown head leaving lacing on the entire glass.Sweet roasted malts and citrus aroma. Oooh what a hoppy suprise! Sweet malty and citrus accompanied with heavy hoppy flavor. Crispy citric on palate. Finishes with huge bitter hoppy and long aftertaste. Fantasticly good beer.

500ml can from Rema 1000, Copenhagen - Amber pour with thin off white head and lacing. Sweet caramel malts, yeasty, some nice fruity hop tones in there as well. Certainly good quality to value ratio when you consider this is fairly cheap to pick up. Decent enough.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Mike Murphy. Average fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Clear golden like color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of light fruity and floral notes. Peach comes to mind with some chewy hoppy notes in there as well. Over the palate came caramel and light sweet liquorish like notes. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Light dry and fruity bitter finish. Very drinkable I thought.

Bottled. Clear copper colour with slowly diminishing head. Aroma is flowery hoppy with bit of dough or baking yeast a la homebrewer style, with just a touch of tropical fruits. Flavour is pretty much the same, and after is a pleasant bitterness that leans towards of that of an IPA, but itís dry and little papery which is not all that nice. All in all a nice surprise.
