COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Bottle: Clear red sparkling colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, dust and caramelly. Flavor had a nice fruity, flowery mouthfelling. Thin to medium body and a nice medium fruity/caramelly finish.

Can. Pours a clear amber brown with a firm, creamy off-white/beige head. Nice lacing. Sweet, almost candy-like, citrus hop aroma on a malty background at first. Rather nice. As it warms, it develops a more crispy hop, and somewhat duller, profile; brought it down from 8 to 7. Slightly tart as well. Flavour is malt and crisp hops clashing, both trying to get the upper hand, but both having equal strength. The malt part is hinting smoke at first, but doesn’t follow through. Bit of caramel though, as well as tart notes as it warms. Finish is a lingering bitterness with remote grassy notes. 22.03.11.

Amber color with a frothy and good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Taste has a good bitter mild fruitiness with toasty caramel. Dry hop finish. Very good brew Fuglsang.

Bottle, thanks skinnyviking! Light clear orange gold. Yeasty, malty, slightly citrus hop aromas. Hops come through more clearly in the flavor, but lots of toffee and caramel that leaves a slight sweet finish. Sticky body, but with vibrant carbonation.

0,5 l. can from SuperBest. Clear, copper colour with golden hues. Small white head that fades to a thin film. Aroma is hoppy with citrus and floral hop notes, also a good amount of chocolate malts. Taste begins at light sweet before hops kicks some bitterness in. Medium body with a creamy texture, small, soft bubbles. Finishes with chocolate malts, nice floral hops, and a faint bread note. Very good beer from a "discount brewer" - and excellent value for money.

500 mL can courtesy of Plovmand. (The first of many thank-yous, Thomas). Lovely bronze colour with a small, but very sticky, off-white head. Mild aroma of floral hops and a touch of resin. (Simcoe?) The flavour was a big surprise, with lots of caramalt and American hops. The little brother of a good ASA. Very impressive.A lot of flavour for a 5.5% beer.

(on bottle) I like this beer and hopes the best for it in the election for Beer Of 2009 in Denmark. Light caramel color, lasting, white head. Slight butterscotch. Good carbonation, lightly sweet, herbish taste. Easy drinkable and a fine macro beer.

500ml can from Rema 1000, Copenhagen - Amber pour with thin off white head and lacing. Sweet caramel malts, yeasty, some nice fruity hop tones in there as well. Certainly good quality to value ratio when you consider this is fairly cheap to pick up. Decent enough.

Smak och doft av humle, citrusfrukter med toner av karamell och malt. Frisk smak med en citrus- och aprikosbeska.

Can. Aroma of hops, grass and hay. Amber colour with beige head. Spring is there with grassy notes in the hops dominated flavour. Pleasant bitter after taste with just an faint note liquorice.
