0,5L Bottle: Aroma is almost abscent, but with a hint of sweetness and some alcoholic odour. Beer is yellow with a thick head that disappears quite fast. Taste is kind of fruity but very alcoholic and maybe a bit too sweet.

Flaske og fad. farven og skumkronen er som hos alle bockøl. Men duften og smagen er lidt bedre, mere maltet.

Can from fonefan (EuroSwap 4/15), many thanks: Pale golden color, white head. Flavor is malty, light grainy, light sweetness, light alcohol notes, some honey notes but all covered by an very intensive, light herbal, bitterness. Harsh bitter end.

50 cl can@home in pilsener glass@approx 6 degrees C. Pours a clear golden with a solid white head with sufficient retention. Sweet malt and alcohol are dominiant in the aroma and this carries over into the taste. Malty sweetness followed by a slightly hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste which is both too alcoholic and to one-dimensional sweet for my taste. On top of that a somewhat oily texture. Fuglsang have much better beers than this in their repetoire.

En fin bock, der har noget af sødmen og ikke mindst humlen fra en rigtig bockøl.

500 ml can on a beach in Varberg, straight from the can. Musty, thick, some wheat burnt notes, some alcohol in the finish.

Light bocks are not usually my style. It is a rough foamy and very nice beer with an aroma that discreetly reveals some malt. I think the taste is too sweet, and because it is also characterized by one for me strong alcoholic aftertaste, it falls far from my idea of a light bock. Initially I started writing light bocks not fall in my taste, but I have tasted several German ones where the quality is much higher than this one. Hop bitterness is moderate and is the only consolation in this beer, which more than anything else radiates strong beer, even too strong. It tastes too much of discount.

Can. Clear yellow, little to no head, little to no lacing. The aroma is malty and hoppy, not quite distinct, some caramel and grass maybe. Noticeable alcohol, some fruits, corn. The taste is heavy sweet, moderate to high bitter. The palate is oily, with a long bittersweet finish.

Malty aroma with notes of citrus and hops. Strawcoloured with a foamy white head. Medium-dry taste with plenty of bitter hops and a bit of acid. Light body with a rather unpleasant aftertaste of alcohol. This beer is poorly balanced and would improve with a lower ABV and more hops.

Big offwhite creamy lasting head. Clear deep yellow body with carbonation. Earthy sugary aroma with mealy notes. Pretty anonymous. Dry-sweet sugary mealy taste with vaguely herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Faintly sharp edges in mouthfeel. Dryish metallic mealy aftertaste with grassy fruity notes. It’s OK. It’s not bad, but it’s not good, either, it’s just something you can drink without disliking it. (0.5l can, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)
