Bottle 330ml. @ home.

Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, bread, carame, chocolate, oxidide and butter notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, brown sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20110812]

Bottle.Dark brown colour with off-beige head.Aroma of caramel and ryebread.Flavor is sweet with malty mouthfeels and light rosted finish.

From Andreas. Bottled, 110110. Brown with beige head. Aroma of dark malt. Flavor is sweet malt with a balanced hop profile

Bottle. Clear red brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, dried fruits, bread and butter. Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits and cane sugar. Sweet finish.

Brown/black with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt and rye bread. The flavour is sweet as expected, but it also has pleasant notes of grain, malt and hints of licorice. It’s a very decent hvidtøl!

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, another great session @ yespr] Large bubbly beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Black colour with a reddish glow. Aroma of sweet malt, brown sugar, hint of butter, hint of toasted malt. Over the palate sweet light liquorish with a very fruit feel. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated to heavy sweet flavour. Sweet malty finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a huge dense mildchocolate brown head. Sweet sugarish aroma with a whiff of grains. Sweet flavour, very sweet sugarish and with slight honey notes. Has a mild grainy note to it. Ends sweet and soft. Medium hvidtøl, still solid.

Bottle. Brownish colour with a nice head. Sweet taste of malts and licorice. Nice beer.

Bottle. Pours reddish brown with a diminishing, light brown head. Sweet malty aroma. Notes of rye and cooked vegetables. Slight metallic notes. Flavour is sweet and malty. Notes of rye. Sweet and slightly bitter finish with remote licorice notes and faint metallic notes. Not as sweet as other beers of the style. 27-03-07.
