What a classic! One of the better danish pilsners, and the perfect companion to the danish lunchtable an frsh baked rye bread. This is the lighter choice/edt. of the Black Bird. Good stuff, but no revolution

Catch up rating. Comparable to other Danish lagers like Carlsberg or Tuborg. Cereal in nature, pale golden, with light, airy head. Normal lager aroma and taste,

330 ml bottle, from a border shop near Flensburg (where I nearly ruined their system by buying a single bottle, they normally sell it only in whole crates). ABV is 4.8%. Pale yellow colour, pours very fizzy with a large to moderate white head. Strong sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, candy and grass. The flavour is bland and medium sweet, notes of malt sugar, not offensive, but has far too little bitterness to deserve to be called a "pilsener". Could have been worse though.

Pale yellow colour with acceptable head. Aroma is quite malty. Taste begins malty as well, but changes quickly to a hoppy feel, though it isn’t bitter at all.

Bottled. Quite thin and robust at the same time. Earthy notes, cardboard. Nah. (2009-09-25)

Decent and drinkable, Tuborg-style pilsener with dominant graininess and light-medium body. Could use more aroma hops. Interesting unpasteurised aftertaste, slightly unbalanced.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Grainy and strawy aroma. Taste is monotonously grainy, minimally strawy, mineralic, bitter.

Draught at an Italian Restaurant in Copenhagen. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt and hops.
