| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2009 Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy straw colour, rich head. Grassy nose. Dry and soft with light body. More soft and edgeless than crisp, so in combnation with low hop rate it apears more as a dry helles. Finishes with fairly low bitterness. Capa (997), Yokosuka, Japan
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2009 Hazy golden with a white head. Crisp hop aroma and light malts. Light grassy hops, fruits, light citrus, and malts in the back of this beer. Refreshing and easy to drink. Tasty. TheJollyOne (204), Kofu, Japan
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Poured a nice tall white head over a clear yellow body. Smell of light grasses and doughy yeast. Tasted of yeast and bitter hops, fairly standard. A bit of pepper maybe. Medium watery palate. Be sure to try the Weizen, this one you can skip. Fragrant with hops and decent malt character as well. Some fruit, citrus. Good balance and tons of hops from nose to finish. Probably the best pilsener in Japan. Easy to drink and you never tire of it. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Captivating grassy hops branch out into a long, spicy, herbal finish, whilst honeyed cereals and hay sculpt an impressively healthy mouthfeel. Another high quality lager from Fujizakura!
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam covers the clear pale golden.
-Some citrusy fruitiness roams within.
-The nose is hoppier and hoppier every time I smell it; it was served a little colder than it should have been...
-Balanced, flavorful, drinkable, well structured; what more do you want from a Pilsener?

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 9, 2005 Horrible sour nose, sour malty body. I am thinking this is going no where. Then a wonderful well balanced fruity hopped finish with some bitterness. Odd beer.
