A German style Weizen. Made with 50% ! Wheat grist and a German imported yeast (Viehen Stephen?) Nice straw color, slight haze. Good Orange/Lemon peel and spice in the nose. Spicey lemony flavors. A solid Weizen with a nice feel to it.

Draught at Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki, 2011. Bright pastel yellow with a nice head. Yeasty nose with a bit of lemon, medium banana and clove. Decent, fruity. Flavor is very spicy, with banana, orange, rich and thick malts, bread. Very spicy, sweet, and cakey. A bit dull.

Little bottle leftover from judging the world beer cup in 08 Bill gave me this bottle. Pours very light yellow with a bright white head. Nose is nice and bright and fresh. Taste is light and sweet with some definite banana hefe thing going on. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Ugh, kind of a fart smell in the pour that goes away as it warms, or maybe I just get used to it. Watery, some yeast in the finish, light color and small head. A little spice, kinda boring.
