The Vaults, Leicester. Lager according to the pumpclip, another GA really. Slightly duskier gold than the Hop Dog with a rim of white suds. Nose pine and polish. Soft heady pineapple and mango, earthy applepeel, light dishclothy dankness, dip of Twiglet, hint of pine. Background gooseberry notes from the hops. Just half the fruitbowl, then. Too much cherryish booze to be lagery. Bit of malt peatiness. Bitterness astingent and not tanging with hops. Faint husky oat-like afters. OK.
