A.Z.O. - Almost Zoned Out
Malts: Marris Otter, Honey, Dark Crystal
Hops: Warrior, Saaz, Tettnang
This full-bodied Imperial Red Ale was brewed to celebrate the long-awaited zoning amendment that made Full Pint Brewing possible. It’s sweet honey malt flavor is nicely balanced with several Noble hop additions.

Draft at Rivertowne: Reddish/amber, tan head, nose of caramel malt, burnt nuts, hint of piney hops, flavor is rich and malty, caramel and roasted malt, long bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Ugh..I read the previous ratings which were all from and I’m wondering if the keg I had this from was a year old. On tap at Bocktown in a 12oz pour which means the beer packs a punch. Everything about this beer was weak and thin. The aroma had a hint of caramel and cardboard. Pour was a nice enough medium brown; hazy with no head or bubbles. Taste was thin and watery. Hints of roasted malt and caramel are there, but hard to pick up through the thin flavor. Little to no carbonation present. I had to drink it quick halfway through so I could finish it and drink something else (something I don’t usually do). Blah

Experienced on tap in a whiskey snifter. The beer pours a medium to dark brown color, with a moderate off-white head. The nose lacks the sort of hop aroma that one would expect, and usually finds in, an example of the style. Instead, an assertive note of chocolate, and eventually, burnished caramel come through. The palate carries a large amount of residual sweetness, showing the aforesaid notes, along with some alcohol toward the finish. The former keeps the beer from being truly drinkable. The finish leaves notes of toffee and chocolate. Overall, in need of refinement.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2010
Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured an orange-brown color with a medium sized beige head that lingered. The aroma was light toasted caramel, fruity hops and lemon. The flavor was bitter with a fairly strong and crisp floral and fruity hop presence with undertones of perfume and toasted caramel. The beer turn ed a bit dry towards the long, hoppy and nutty finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.
