COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We hit this full bodied IPA with “nookie” four times during the brewing process to give this ale its trademark Chinook hop character. We then “dry nookied” this flavorful ale to further enhance its grapefruit and pine aroma.

Tap at Smokin’ Joes. Amber pour with a thick, sticky tan head. The nose is lightly sweet and quite piny as well. Subdued earthiness with a kiss of light fruit as well. Soflty hoppy with a kiss of sweetness on the back. Meh... too much crystal malt makes it overly chewy.

12oz bottle: Pours a clear deep orange bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a fresh resiny grapefruity hoppy nose with some light caramel malty sweetness. Starts with good fullness and lightly toasted malty sweetness with a clean orange citrus hop bitterness before a drier crisp bittersweet finish. Very drinkable and true to style.

Tastes resiny, dry, with a big tropical citrus componenet, some black peppery notes, and a big malt bill. Very well made, with good complexity.
