3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The aroma is toasted malt and spices with with hints of chocolate and toffee. The appearance is amber brown with a tiny head. The taste is like the aroma with a mild hoppy bitter sweet ginger bread finish. The palate is thick. Overall a fun holiday beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from Xroads. This is an uninspired thin body lightly yet badly spiced winter seasonal. Thin watery mouthfeel with light carbonation gives way to an aroma of sage and macewith a hint of chocolate and cinnamon. Flavor steps it up a bit with more of a nutmeg than cinnaomon and more of a brown bread than chocolate. Overall you can skip this one if you aren’t a hard core ticker.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours murky brown with red hues and a rimming, off white head. Light spice nose. Watery and light mouthfeel. Caramel notes with just a touch of spice. The beer shines through, instead of being a spice rack. Honestly, not bad.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours slightly hazy amber/red, quick head, no real lacing or retention. Aroma of cinnamon, mace and ginger. Taste is spicy sweet. Light bodied, medium carbonation, thin mouth feel. It starts finishing sweet then a nasty after taste. I didn’t care for this at all.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice brown/winter ale, with hints of cinnamon on the nose. Pick up even more cinnamon on first taste, with the vanilla and other spices hitting on the back end, lingering on the palate for a few minutes. A nice winter/seasonal ale, nothing too special here.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reddish amber color out of the bottle with almost no head. Sweet nose with hints of spice. There is a lot of light brown sugar and cheap caramel sweetness in this with some cinnamon and a hint of artificial vanilla in the finish. The marketing is better than the beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance was clear reddish brown with creamy off white tiny diminishing head, no lacing. Aromas are holiday spices, sweet toffee sweetness with clean yeasts profile. Taste are caramel malts upfront then soft pine hops. The flavor of cinnamon, vanilla and soft fruity easter finish. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with light body, then average length sweet holiday spice thin finish. Overall a good holiday brew, needs touch of body@6% or more CO2.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Weak nose, some slices evident. Cloudy amber/brown, minimal lacing. Cinnamon and vanilla...some sweet malt aftertaste. Very thin, disappointingly so.
