Draft. Pours a clear copper amber color with a medium sized head that quickly fades into a very thin sheet. Some patches of webbed lacing cling to the glass. Aroma has some nice hoppy notes with a bit of biscuit malt. Decent flavor for a lower ABV session ale but seems a little overcarbonated to be one. Still, not bad overall.

Bottle - from sampler pack. Note I don’t know if this is the hop variety - it said to go to their website, which doesn’t work right. It’s lot 278 if that helps. Anyway:
Cloudy, light golden. Very hoppy aroma. Taste is also hoppy but mostly just the bitterness. Beer is weak and thin. Meh.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 burg326 (2391) - Florida, USA - JAN 18, 2013
12 ounce bottle pours a dark golden yellow color with aromas of pine, citrus, and a decent caramel malt backbone. Flavors follow suit mostly caramel and pine flavors very light acetone aftertaste.

On hand pull at Fat Heads Pittsburgh. Pours a super murky orange with a thick white head. Aroma of bitter, pot-like, grassy and garlicky hops. Flavor is very garlicky and super bitter in the finish. I definitely wouldn’t guess this was 4% because it is quite full bodied and super hoppy. Great stuff!

The aroma is sweet with caramel but dominated by pine and citrus hops. The appearnace is amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall a great beer with a special bread like quality.

Draft to pint. Looks solid; a hazy orange with thin white lacing. Smells decent; golly with a sweet malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A nice session beer, and a good example of the style.

Cask (unlabeled version, presumably this one). Small beige head, hazy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet forward orange/grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some orange. Medium body, light resin.

This poured a darker yellow color with a white head. Aroma was nice mellow hops, but enough there to notice, mild sweeter malt character and some crackery notes. Flavor was mild, but fairly fruity, malt did not get too much in the way of this one. Decent.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jhliesen (612) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Bottle--dark amber color with a thick, medium head that stays on top of the beer through the drink. Floral hop aroma with a touch of caramel. Taste is medium/high hop feeling with some grains, it really didn’t mix so well. Sharp, bitter finish, but it didn’t leave you with the best feeling. Al’s of Hampden, 2.33.
