Extract spruce. Not bad for extract, but nowhere close to a good spruce beer. Still decently drinkable. Faint sprice aroma, stronger flavour. Carbonation still right there.

DocLock (6789) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2012
Bottles from Capone’s and Blue Dog. Pours turbid deep orangy copper with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel and honey malt, sprucy notes, and fruit. Tastes sprucey, piney, with notes of tangerine, black pepper, and caramel malt, Medium palate heft and complexity, and the spruce tips give this one a unique flavor.
