Very nice and certainly lotd put into the bottle. Comes across as DIPA and the alcohol does not play too big of a role, then also more caramel malts. could be an IESB. Notable for the cotrus.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy goldish brown color. Minimal head. Not very fresh aroma, slight citrus hop and malty. Medium bitterness. Had a heavy maltyness too it. Was expecting more hops. Not bad though.

Pours hazy amber. Feuity and citrus nose along with sweet malts and some warm sweet alcohols. Flavor is very fruity and orangey with various other citrus notes and almost boozy alcohols. Full body with moderate carbonation. Quite lasting bitterness. Decent but a little hot alcohols and intense bitter finish. hops are no overly complex.

12oz bottle in a snifter. Pours deep amber with a lacy, light beige head. Aroma strong of citrusy and piney hops, caramel malts, and hints of alcohol. Flavor strong on the hops with a nice maltiness to balance it. Thicker texture. A really good beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 LIVEFAST (62) - Mount Misery, Valley Forge, - NOV 18, 2011
12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pour yeilds a burnt amber liquid with great clarity. Little to no head, which was expected. Aromas of sweet ctystal malts, aged hops, citrus peel, and cereal grains are there if you really dig your nose in. The ctystal malt paired and an orange/pineapple driven hop presence made Tri-IPA an easy drinking monster, dispite ABV. Pretty solid offering from Full Pint, would like to try a fresher bottle.

Really well done I think, the beer is exactly what it says, 180 IBU’s with crystal malt to back it up (or try to). The aroma was exactly like you would expect with a DIPA, the appearance also, mild reddish brown with little head. The initial taste was great, citrus, grapefruit notes. The palate is where the crystal malt did not back up this hop bomb. It is quite bitter (which i understood looking at the IBU) but it does not have the malt background. I still enjoyed this beer very much and will enjoy more, but I can understand the other displeased reviews. In conclusion, this is a hop head’s brew that doesn’t linger in the stomach, very good!

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep coppery orange color with a small to medium sized cream colored head. Aroma of fresh oranges, bitter hops and tangy malt. Taste of orange citrus, bitter hops and tangy malt. Very nice.

Ugh...a terrible mess of a beer. After reading some of the ratings I ponder if I had a bad bottle. Aroma was pretty big, but not very appetizing. Smelled like lemon with a slight hoppiness mixed in. Pour was a nice enough murky burnt orange with a splotchy off white head. Taste was very odd. Sour and bitter with sour being the dominate flavor. Lemon was strong and full in this beer. The aftertaste is terpentine. Decent carbonation doesn’t help this beer.

12oz bottle: Pours a clear deep orange copper with a thin-lacing white head. Has a sweet toasty caramel malty nose with lots of orange and grapefruity hops. Starts with good fullness and sweet toasted light caramel malt with a juicy resiny hop bitterness and flavor before a semi-sweet finish. Has good hop flavor and plenty of sweetness throughout.
