3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A- Fantastic. Foggy straw yellow body and 2 finger or so soapy white head. The ehad fades to 1/2 finger or so and plenty of lacing is left behind in the glass. The cloudiness is very dynamic as you can see thick clouds swirl about in the glass and some bubbles rising to the top.
S- Nose is pretty typical for a wit. Bready yeast, a touch of citrus and coriander, and a hint of soapiness as well.
T- Flavor upfront somewhat dry and the highlight is coriander with a mild bready backbone. The peppery spice aspects intensify for the finish and a touch of citrus comes through and the yeast backbone becomes slightly more prominent-but the finish overall is pretty clean with only a touch of spice lingering.
M- High carbonation and a lightweight-but full slightly bready, dry body.
D- I like this beer a lot. Its light, drinkable, and full of flavor. This is my first brew from this new brewing company out of Pittsburgh and I look forward to trying other offerings from them. One of the better American wits that is out there.

Bottle best by DEC 2014. Nose is sweet, slimy wheat with lemon, orange, coriander, herbal character, and a little stale tire air. Pours pale light yellow that’s still cloudy, avg carb, ephemeral head. Crisp medium body with a bready finish, has lemon and vanilla, yeasty character very reminiscent of a Hefeweizen, and some complementary banana esters. There are signs of some raging fermentation here, but nothing too wild. Slimy wheat character persists but overall refreshing, sweet without cloying, very low bitterness.

Aroma is a nice blend of spices. Taste is very similar to Hoegaarden with lots of spice and sweetness, but just a step behind. Overall very refreshing, but not the best.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a one inch frothy white head that had pretty nice retention. The nose is pretty decent, fairly restrained on the spicing, but clearly defined orange peel and coriander. I think the ’secret spice’ in here may be grains of paradise, but not 100% clear. Lots of wheat and a nice yeastiness throughout. The flavor is pretty well balanced between the wheat malt and the spicing. I like that the spices aren’t over done. Lingering coriander and yeast on the finish. Light bodied with a nice soft texture from the yeastiness and soft gentle carbonation. Pretty good Witbier, a lesser seen style I think.
