A- Fantastic. Foggy straw yellow body and 2 finger or so soapy white head. The ehad fades to 1/2 finger or so and plenty of lacing is left behind in the glass. The cloudiness is very dynamic as you can see thick clouds swirl about in the glass and some bubbles rising to the top. S- Nose is pretty typical for a wit. Bready yeast, a touch of citrus and coriander, and a hint of soapiness as well. T- Flavor upfront somewhat dry and the highlight is coriander with a mild bready backbone. The peppery spice aspects intensify for the finish and a touch of citrus comes through and the yeast backbone becomes slightly more prominent-but the finish overall is pretty clean with only a touch of spice lingering. M- High carbonation and a lightweight-but full slightly bready, dry body. D- I like this beer a lot. Its light, drinkable, and full of flavor. This is my first brew from this new brewing company out of Pittsburgh and I look forward to trying other offerings from them. One of the better American wits that is out there. Bottle. A clear, pale orange-golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite decent, with orange peel, coriander seeds and a little malty touch. It’s very effervescent, medium bodied and dry, with flavors of orange peel, coriander seeds and a decent bitterness. Some doughy malt notes. Long citrusy finish. Overall, quite nice, but the carbonation level is too high. 150621

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast, citrus and coriander. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long orange, coriander and wheat finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is very fizzy.

bottle. Hazy pale golden with one finger head. Pretty bland wheat beer with some light wit spicing. It’s ok, but could be a lot better with more flavor.

Citrus with spicy wheat notes on the aroma. Appearance is a slightly hazy pale yellow with a whit head with below average head retention and no lacing. Flavor has hints of citrus with an herbal spicy character. Malt character is light. Mouthfeel is medium light with medium carbonation. Overall, it's s below average wit. The spice flavors and aromatics don't seem fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear yellow pour from a bottle from Wegmans. Bubbly with a small amount of white head. Aroma of spiced malts, lemongrass, wheat, yeast. Peppercorns accentuate the flavor but it is pretty bland. Balanced though, it seems like they use pretty fresh ingredients.

DRAFT at Ten Penny in Pittsburgh. Mislabeled as an IPA on the menu...not the brewery’s fault. Decent but not excellent Belgian...some funk but not too much....good but not great.
