So here we are 25 years later. Very humbled, grateful, and amazed that we got here in one piece. Still a mix of beer geeks and boardheads. Still independent. Still trying to find that perfect balance between art and commerce, work and play, inspiration and perspiration. Thanks for supporting us for all these years, and next time you’re in Hood River, stop by for a beer.

Surprised this is not rated higher. Rich full malty flavor, with an oak vanilla strain that holds in the aftertaste. Very dry & a touch light for the style. Lovely & unique. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. This is an ok doppel bock that is easier drinking and less cloying than most. The depth of flavor suffers though.

Pours a cloudy copper orange. Sweet toasty malt with a hint of toffee. Similar flavoe profile with the added citrus pith hops aftertaste. Overall, drinkable... Not too exciting but tasty nonetheless...

Pours brownish-orange with a decent sized off white head. Smells citrusy and slightly sweet. Tastes- Hoppier than I was expecting. I saw doppelbock and my mind went to Korbinian but this beer is much more bitter. More hops and citrus than anything else. That being said, once I got over my expectations I enjoyed this beer. The bitterness is not over whelming by any means and the citrus notes are pleasant. MF-Medium body and slightly carbonated. Overall- Not what I think of when I think doppelbock but a pleasant beer nonetheless.

22oz bottle, shared at b3shine’s with local raters. Purchased from Party Town. Mostly hazy darker orange amber color. Thin white head. Couple dots of lace. Medium body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. I really don’t like the aroma. It has that distinct old malty hop caramel soapy aroma that I don’t care for at all. Moderate bitter, light to moderate sweet taste. At first, the flavor is pretty offensive, but once I get over the initial shock it grows on me a little, not horrible to drink. Some nice, robust chocolatey maltiness. Not my style, though.

Bottle shared at b3shine’s. Pours a hazy copper with almost no head. Aroma is biscuit and saltines. Tastes dull and uninteresting. Past it’s prime I would say.

Strong malty nose with sweet honey character. String malt flavors with a touch of peppery hop character and a little alcohol in the finish. On draft at brew pub ---Rated via ws; sp

Pours a murky amber with a huge off white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, hops, and roasted malt. Taste of the same with more caramel and slight alcohol. This medium to full bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.

Bomber from Blue Dog Lansddale. Pours turbid and pretty thick deep brownish orangish colored with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, earthy, hops, and a big Wheaties corn flakey smell. Tastes rich, with predominant flavor of corn flakes, mild cacao, tropical fruit, earthy, and hops.
