While our Cascade Pils is inspired by classic European pilsners, this beer is really a celebration of the fresh, local Cascade hops grown by family farmers right here in our beloved Pacific Northwest. It has intense aromas of citrus and pine, supported by a medium body and dry malty palate. As you savor that unmistakable aroma and long, clean hop finish, tip your hat (and your glass) to the generations of hop farmers who help us live the locavore dream every day. We originally brewed Cascade Pilsner as a special release to celebrate our 26th Anniversary and our Northwest hop growers. It quickly became our fastest growing Full Sail draft beer and our bestselling 22oz. bottle. With that warm consumer response we decided it deserved its own year round six-pack.

Poured from a regular bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a rich, lighter gold color with a good-sized foamy white head with good retention, cling, and lacing. Its aroma had strong notes of pine and grain with floral and straw undertones and a bit of citrus and spice. The taste was a lightly sweet-mostly bitter blend with hops, floral, and lemon like flavors. It was a lively beer with a good fizz and fairly full mouthfeel with a dry finish.

12 ounce bottle. Bright pale gold color. Moderate foamy white head. Fresh grainy malt aroma. Crisp dry malt flavor has notes of floral hops. Tangy and fruity with a wonderful cascade hop burst in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel and medium bodied. Quite a tasty pilsner.

12 oz bottle. Pours a beautiful bright golden color, slight white head, no lacing. Aroma is crisp grassy hops with some hay and caramel malt notes. Flavor is bitter hops and caramel malt up front, with a great finish. Palate is thin and lively, like a good pilsner. Overall, a great NW take on a classic beer.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours clear golden / yellow with a white head. It has a medium body for the style and light sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with dry crusty pale malt and earthy / spicy hops. The finish adds some grass. Good pils.

Pretty hard to beat a crisp dry citrusy hoppy pilsner. This is very good. Another solid one-off from Full Sail.

6-packed picked up tonight at the Fred Meyer on Orchard... Enjoyed from my Elysian pumpkin goblet... Sudsy white head atop a very clear golden brew, pretty... Nose is definitely American hopped with an abundant Cascade profile, but is still very clean and crisp... Flavor begins very bitter for a pilsner, but not exactly out of whack.. The citrus hops work with the clean lager profile... I dig this one a lot. Good take on a "tough to get right" style... I appreciate more lagers... good job. It would be cool to see an accomplished brewery do something small/boutique that highlighted either a single malt/single hop while using a nice clean lager yeast... and perhaps even release a few of them at the same time so the geeks could get a little crazy.... Full Sail could pull it off.

A great tasting Pilsner beer that is not shy when it comes to expressing some hop character.
