COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While our Cascade Pils is inspired by classic European pilsners, this beer is really a celebration of the fresh, local Cascade hops grown by family farmers right here in our beloved Pacific Northwest. It has intense aromas of citrus and pine, supported by a medium body and dry malty palate. As you savor that unmistakable aroma and long, clean hop finish, tip your hat (and your glass) to the generations of hop farmers who help us live the locavore dream every day. We originally brewed Cascade Pilsner as a special release to celebrate our 26th Anniversary and our Northwest hop growers. It quickly became our fastest growing Full Sail draft beer and our bestselling 22oz. bottle. With that warm consumer response we decided it deserved its own year round six-pack.

Citrus, pine, resiny honey syrup, sweet malts. Tastes more lile a honey beer. Not really a pils and canít taste the cascade hops so much. Very hazy yella with a little head. Not a bad beer and Full Sail is so likeable, Iím really bummed this beer isnít what I thought it might be. I was hoping for a czech pils with a west coast hoppiness to it but its sweet and mildly piney. Shame.

Bottle. First impressions almost underwhelming: missing the satisfying crisp flush of a pilsner. Second impressions a little more positive: piney hop notes shine, giving this a nice west coast pilsner vibe. Still a little two malty sweet for the style & my tastes. As the beer sits the sweetness reveals more of a citrus base. Most confusing are the reviews below mine -- a crude copy & paste job directly below mine is baffling and other scores seem very high considering the dismissive written reviews. Whatever. Interesting & somewhat unique beer.

Very nice beer. Hops didnít come out too much in aroma. They were present in a pleasing way in flavor though and balanced nicely with the other ingredient. Extremely drinkable. Yum!

Havenít met a pilsner I love yet, and this is no exception. Pours a clear golden with thin white top. Aroma is promising with a nice bready malt. Pleasingly the hop is mild and herbal. Flavor is okay with some of the malt lending a smooth balance of slight sweet. Finish is semi-dry, peppery and otherwise boring. Perhaps the common element of peppery spice to common pilsners hops is just not for me.

On tap at Angelís Trumpet. One more of recent west coast hop american pilsners. Quaffable but would prefer more sessionable abv.

Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of grain and light bread, light to moderate herbs and lemon for the hops, and dried leaves for the yeast, with a note of paper in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear gold. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, a bit slick, with a lively carbonation. A tasty, crisp Pilsener.

Light crisp citrus fruit and yeast and hops. Dry hops and juiciness. Delicious and fairly smooth and refreshing. Only slight bitter finish.

Clear bright gold with a white head. Medium bitterness with some spiciness underneath. Citrus. Earthy. Subtle pine Soft sweetness in the background. Dry. Very enjoyable. A good approachable example of the style. I can see a lot of people liking this.
