COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“26” is a Northwest take on a European classic and features intense aromas of pine and spice with citrus notes and is supported by a medium body, dry malty palate, and is balanced with a long, clean, herbal hop finish,” said Full Sail’s Executive Brewmaster Jamie Emmerson.

Pours a clear straw color with white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is smooth and well balanced, of malt and a touch of pine. A very nice pilsner. Thumbs up.

12oz bottle pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma of pils yeast and malt, more on the sweet side. Thick body for a pils, dry biscuit malt, with sharp bitter hop spice on the finish. Pretty enjoyable.

Full Sail Pilsner has a thick, white head, a clear, straw, bubbly appearance, and fairly heavy lacing (not unlike Magnum Malt Liquor, if you can believe it). The aroma is odd- a strange, roasted smell (roofing tar?), unusual hop resin, and not much sweetness. Taste is likewise odd- yeast, semi-sweet grain, a shade of lemon, and decent, yet not harsh, bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Full Sail Pilsner finishes crisp, refreshing, and weird. RJT.

HonusWagner (1624) - Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2014
A hoppy citrusy pilsner, almost more like an American IPA because the malt is reminiscent of a pale ale rather than pils malt and the bitterness is quite apparent. A good beer.

I liked this, the first thing I noticed about the taste was the slightly sweet finish, but the next sip reinforced the hop blend. Another winner from a great brewery, glad they’re selling it in the Northeast!

Pours clear golden color with white head. Aromas of cereal malts and grass. Grassy flavor with bread and malt with a touch of sweetness. Light to medium body with lively carbonation.
